Ghost/Monster

I like the Ghost/Monster idea the most that's why I decided to go with it and make some sketches. I haven't decided what kind of shape kite I would like to make and I tried to figure it out by drawing different ones:

I prefer sketch Nr. 2 , because first one and third one seems like kites that look like a ghosts and I would like to make something that really looked like one. I would love that the first impression would be : oh, its a monster; and not : what a scary kite.

I colored my sketches just for fun and to see what kind of colors I would like to use. I think I will go with an iconic bluish/white ghost.

Idea/Research

The first idea that came to me was to create something spooky. I thought about witches, ghosts, vampires, monsters and etc.

Black Sky Shining Objects

This project re-addresses the potential of sculptures set in the night sky.

Inspired by traditional ancient Chinese kite making which evolved due to readily

available materials like silk and bamboo to the many other cultures that used

kite flying for celebrations, communication, human flight, science and military

applications. This project asks you to address kite designing and building as

artists; exploiting kite making properties to create an engaging visual

spectacle which will take place at night.
